New mini pedal board.

Am currently putting together a new mini pedal board for showcases.

Sonic Research Strobe Tuner > my favourite versatile overdrive the xotic BB preamp > an MXR carbon copy Delay/with modulation > Boss loop station.

I'll use this board for practice, rehearsals and for showcasing with jem as a duo, this way we can still feature my lead guitar playing as I can solo over a rhythm gtr loop. we'll see how well this works in practice!

should look vaguely like this:

The new pedal board setup.

Signal chain: Xotic AC Booster (set for mild overdrive) > Xotic BB Preamp (higher gain) > Xotic EP Booster (Volume Boost) > Boss TR-2 Tremolo > T-Rex Replica Delay > Lehle Dual amp switcher, feeeding the Tuner and either The Dr Z Carmen Ghia, Jaz 20/40 or both amps together.  Board powered by a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus.

Power Cable In, Signal Cable In ,Signal cable out, job done awesome tone.

The day after the night before.

Had an awesome session @ Miloco studios yesterday, completed guitar tracking for the next batch of tunes, Jem spent the day filming, Umil took very naturally to sitting in a producers chair and not doing much, and dave just couldn't stop smiling, could have something to do with the ampeg 8x10 bass tone and Luke 'Legend' Rao has definately found his calling sat behind a vintage Neve console. Stay posted for pics and videos of the session.

Geek Post. New Guitar amp has arrived!

Recieved my New Dr Z Jaz 20/40 today, and it's been worth the wait. Custom colours, i'm naming it the 'Sin City' amp. This is the amp thats making me sell my Fender Custom Shop it does fender better than fender. Planning to use this amp on it's own and as The A side (Clean side) of my amp rig  when the gig allows it and my back alows me, with the Carmen Ghia handling the B (dirty side) of course the dual A+B channel is going to be a heavily used option, ultimate tone heaven.

Expect to hear this amp on a track or two soon.

Cobden Gig

Thanks to all who attended the Cobden gig last Weds it was certainly an interesting line up, we've been invited back to play on Weds 21st October with more appropriate support acts.

Hope to see you down there.

1st post

Thanks to all of you who showed up to the Trinity on Friday, if you didn't well you missed  the first outing of 'the band' and will have to wait for the next one.

It was cool playing with a 9 piece band. especially on the John Mayer cover 'I'm gonna find another you'. Jemma enjoyed the gig far to much and was very excited to sign our first CD's.

See you again at the next one, or see you at the next one.
